Postpartum Massage
Honor the body that brought life.
Pregnancy and birth ask an extraordinary amount of your body. Postpartum massage gives some of that care back to you.
In the early weeks you may be processing your birth, learning to feed your baby, and living in fragments of sleep. Old pregnancy aches can ease while new ones arrive — from birth itself, from feeding, and from carrying a newborn.
Taking an hour for yourself to receive bodywork is a way to release that tension, support healing and circulation, and reconnect with your body. It is one of the best gifts for a new parent.
Whether planned or not, a cesarean is major abdominal surgery, and tightness often lingers around the incision as it heals — sometimes reaching into the low back and hips. Once your provider has cleared you (usually around six weeks), scar tissue massage can release fascial adhesions and restore mobility.
